Billing you can trust.
NeuroGen can't drain your card.
You've seen the stories — AI tools that loop on a bug and bill $50 a day, charge for failed attempts, and quietly keep hitting your card after the credits run out. We built the opposite. Hard caps that stop. Refunds when our AI fails. Every credit visible.
The guarantees
Not fine print — how the system actually behaves.
Hard caps that stop
When you're out of credits, NeuroGen pauses and asks. It never silently charges your card or flips you onto an uncapped meter. Per-session and per-day limits keep an agent from running away.
You don't pay for our mistakes
If an AI call fails, the credits are refunded automatically. No charging for errored, hung, or failed attempts.
See every credit
A line-by-line usage log shows what each action cost — the model, the tokens, the credits. No mystery statement.
Warnings before the wall
We alert you at 80% and 100% of your balance, so a big bill never sneaks up on you.
No auto-recharge
There's no background pay-as-you-go meter quietly billing your card. You top up when you decide.
Cancel clean
Access runs to the end of your period, then stops. No trailing charges, no "arrears," no post-cancel metering.
What you actually pay
1 credit = $0.01. Your plan includes a monthly credit allowance. Here's the markup over raw provider cost — honestly, including the one service that isn't 20%.
| Service | Markup | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| AI chat, assistants, agents | 20% | Standard model rates plus a flat 20%. |
| Voice minutes | 20% | About 1.7 credits/min (~$0.017). |
| Text messages | 20% | About 1 credit per text (~$0.01). |
| Cloud sandboxes & storage | 20% | Usage plus a flat 20%. |
| NeuroGen AI orchestrator | Premium | The autonomous build agent runs a full plan → build → review pipeline of multiple agents, so it's priced above the 20% commodity rate — and it's budget-capped per session and per day so it can't run away. |
| Premium human-grade voice | Flat / min | A fixed credits-per-minute rate. No surprise metering. |
No hidden second bill for what your finished app does at runtime. No credits that silently expire mid-cycle without warning.
What happens when you run out?
NeuroGen pauses and tells you. It does not charge your card automatically, and there is no uncapped "pay-as-you-go" mode running in the background. You decide when to top up — and you can set a per-day spend limit (under Credit Usage → Daily spend limit) so an agent never spends more than you allow.
Questions
Is everything the same 20% markup?
Most things — AI chat, voice, texts, and cloud are a flat 20% over provider cost. The one exception is the autonomous NeuroGen AI orchestrator: because it runs a multi-agent plan→build→review pipeline, it carries a premium over the 20% commodity rate, and it's budget-capped per session and per day so it can never run away. Premium human-grade voice is a flat per-minute rate. We'd rather tell you that than bury it.
What happens if the AI fails or loops?
Failed calls are refunded automatically. And the orchestrator is capped per session and per day, so it physically can't loop your balance into the ground the way some tools do.
Will you charge my card without warning?
No. There's no auto-recharge and no background usage meter. When your balance is low we warn you at 80% and 100%, and when it's empty we pause and ask. Top-ups are always your choice.
What happens to my credits if I cancel?
Your access runs to the end of the period you already paid for, then stops. There are no trailing or "arrears" charges after cancellation.
Can I see exactly what I spent on?
Yes. Every AI action is logged with the model, token counts, and credits charged, so your usage is fully itemized — not a single mystery number.
